About the Association
A public register of farms that have been inspected on-site and found to meet the Association's organic standards.
What the register is for
Buyers, markets, and visitors can use the register to confirm that a farm is a current member of the Association and that its organic status is genuine. Every certificate carries a number and a QR code that links to a public verification page, so a certificate can be checked in seconds.
How a farm joins
A farmer applies — or a field technician applies on their behalf. A technician then visits the farm, records the land, water source, soil, crops, and farming practices, and takes samples for laboratory testing. Once the results are in, the Association reviews the file and either approves the farm for the register or explains why it cannot yet be approved.
Certificates
An approved farm is issued a certificate that is valid for a fixed period. If a farm no longer meets the standard, its certificate can be revoked, and the public verification page will show that immediately.
